Reveling in the Rough Draft: A Five-Week Virtual Writing Experience

At Living Hyphen, our philosophy is that anyone who writes is a writer. If you are someone who has always wanted to put pen to paper or who is simply curious to explore this world of words, but you have no idea where to start – this five-week workshop is for you!

This course is all about letting go of our preconceived notions of what it means to write and become a writer, to release our flawed frameworks of perfection, and simply to revel in the "rough" draft. We will find the joy of happy accidents and messy pages!

Absolutely no writing experience necessary. Only an open heart and an open mind with a readiness to give and receive vulnerability.

We’ve carefully and intentionally designed this workshop to be intimate, jam-packed with writing and storytelling. We’ll give you writing prompts to spark your creativity and share your stories in a supportive environment. All you need is a steady Internet connection to join us online, some paper, and a pen.

We will also send you a little writing kit to get your pen moving! We'll use the sparks included in this special package during our workshops as a source of our inspiration.
